Nailing the gold (but not so much the photography)! This is Barry M Gold. I know, silly of me to buy a gold polish when I have four, none of which I feel like keeping on for longer than a day. And sillier still to apply it at a time when I plan to keep it on for nearly a week. Especially silly to buy it from a company whose polishes are known to last for that long with minimal damage! This, however, may just be my holy grail of gold polishes. It is not a dupe of any gold I have. It is likely to become my favourite out of all of them. It looks, literally, gilded. It has a shimmer which is subtle except when held directly under an electric light, at which point it becomes a riot of tiny multicoloured particles. A word of warning though, it is one of the weedier Barry M polishes I’ve come across with regard to colour - the photos show three coats (rather than my usual two) and a top. Oh, and they also show me slapping my face at my sheer crappness of planning, the reason why the batteries from my normal camera are on an overnight charge rather than doing their nail blogging duty! So apologies for the crappy webcam shots, but at least the polish itself redeems everything…
