As promised yesterday, more sparklies! This is Barry M Red Glitter, worn over Barry M Black. This is a look I have wanted to try for a while, I wasn’t sure it would work but it is glam and shiny and sparkly and just a bit goth due to the black showing through! This is two coats of Black (which is the thin weedy one of the Barry M range), one coat of Red Glitter (with the proviso that you have to make sure the brush is really glittered-up) and two of 3-in-1 as a top.
Two of the pictures were taken with my hand on my keyboard - partly for contrast, but mostly because that is where my hands have been welded for the best part of the past week! I have a chapter to finish which is one reason the blog posting has tailed off a bit. (also because I’m running out of unblogged products - most of the ones I have left are nail varnishes that I don’t wear often. Fear not, I will be finding excuses to wear these once the Christmas party season starts!)
The book is ‘All the Things We Didn’t Say’ by Sara Shepherd. I was lured into buying it because I loved her Pretty Little Liars series (to the point of re-reading them again in the past couple of weeks! I need to find nail varnish that co-ordinates with those so I can blog about them more…). It is very different from those, but just as good in its own way. I do want her to write more PLL though! Anyway, it is still on the floor by the sofa and it has a sparkly cover, so it gets photographed…
