I have an evening alone, without my lovely boy to chat to on facebook, and too exhausted to do a whole lot. So swatching some less usual ‘looks’ with eyeshadow seemed like a logical activity to fill the time! These are all based around Barry M Dazzle Dust 14, a dark green - anyone who has Barry M’s nail polish in Racing Green should consider getting this as it is the perfect match. I should know, I bought them together… The point of trying these looks out at home (apart from filling time, cheering myself up and making a blog post) is so I can know what ‘works’ before I have to put it on with limited time to spare. My plan is to find looks that can translate ok from a day at work to an evening out. DD14, Racing Green and my green satin blouse got me through one slightly nerve-wracking event last year, but I don’t want to keep repeating the same thing. I’m still not sure what looks best - I’m thinking green and black, but glitter is always tempting…

Anyway, I used:

Green/gold - Highlighter 17 eye creme wonderland, top lid Collection 2000 tarnished gold, bottom lid DD14

Green/black - top lid DD14, bottom lid 17 darkness

Green/sparkly - base DD14, glitter Collection 2000 Glam Glitter OMG! (still not keen on the name…)
