Black and white two-tone again, now with reclaimed sparkle!
The lighting in my house may make this appear a dead ringer for the last eye pictures I posted, but if you could see me in person you’d know that I wasn’t being a cheapskate and repeating photos. Not that you’d need photos… anyway, the difference is in the liquid eyeliner, as I’ve used BeautyUK’s liquid glitter eyeliner in shade no.2. It looks silver in the bottle but is actually a sparkly black.
Why reclaimed? Well, this was my eyeliner of choice two summers ago - the lifestyle I had at the time involved going to a lot of gigs, my holiday that year was in Brighton, and it was the last summer I’d have before job applications and thesis pending started hanging over my head. The trouble is, a lot of this was tied up with the relationship I was in at the time, in which cracks were already appearing. Then the relationship ended just as term started, meaning I had to be a lot more serious. Basically, it has been a long time since I’ve got this one out! But it is my eyeliner, dammit - if my ex wanted it he should have taken it with him, we’re on good enough terms that I’d get him his own one for Christmas if he asked - so there is no earthly reason why I shouldn’t wear it. And today feels like it needs a bit of sparkle from my makeup, since it is unlikely to get any from anything else with so much marking around…
