The lippy that (in principle) lasts!
No7 Stay Perfect Lip Lacquer in Belle. This was one of the products I bought when I had a few £5 vouchers drifting around to bring them into my budget! I swatched it at home before catching the train to see if it worked with my nails, blouse etc. It isn’t a bright colour by any means, but that’s probably a good thing for a formal occasion in daytime. Lip Lacquer works in two stages - firstly a colour that goes on with a normal lipgloss applicator (and smells like toffee!), then a clear gloss that brushes over the top once the colour is dry to make it look shiny and stay in place. It is a bit of a faff, especially if you like to drink coffee while getting ready - the warm cup tends to melt the colour if brought into contact before the gloss is applied. Still, it is worth the faff!
Also, please note that after largely recovering from my cold and doing a bit of a home facial, I now feel un-swamp-monsterish enough to risk a full-face photo! Long may it continue…
