In which I find a surprise unblogged product and inadvertantly paint my eyes in my football colours!
Top lid and crease: 17 Eye Dazzle in Midas Touch
Bottom lid: Barry M Dazzle Dust no14
17 loose dusts are an odd product. I’m never sure how to go about applying them. I’m used to the Barry M dusts, where you have to be careful not to spill them (goodbye deposit if that makes contact with a light carpet!) but at least you get easy access. 17, however, put their dusts in a pot with a little shaker at the top, which seems logical from a mess point of view until you have to figure out how to get it out of the shaker and onto your eyelid. One option is closing your eyes and sprinkling it over the general area… no, thought that wouldn’t appeal to anyone else more than it does to me! The other, which I normally resort to, involves shaking a small quantity into the lid and dabbing it with an applicator or brush. Clue: the lid is at least as easy to knock over as an open pot! I also think that these dusts are a bit over-packaged compared to Bazza’s - they cost less but you also get less product and more clear plastic with, as far as I can see, less reuse value. On the other hand this dark khaki-y gold was my colour of choice for an entire summer a year and a half ago, so I can hardly criticise… Oh, and if teamed with the dark green dust it comes out as a tribute to Norwich City!
PS: no full-face shot because I’m still shaking off a cold - my red nose does not need to be seen in the blogosphere!
PPS: I’ll be on scheduled posting for a while, and there will be days with no posts. This is due to having a fair bit of work on and also to going to my boy’s graduation on Saturday. On the plus side, I intend to do special nails for that… ;)
