17 Limited Edition makeup compendium from a few years back. This is the emergency set of makeup that I keep at my boyfriend’s house - not that I usually forget to take any with me, but it’s always useful to know I would have something if I did. I kind of hoped he’d take up wearing it, but that’s another story. Anyway, this is a good little box of tricks even though my use of it is limited. As well as the silvery-grey (top lid and crease) and black (bottom lid) eyeshadows shown in use, it also contains a shimmery off-white highlighter/primer (which I am also wearing in the pic), pink and blue eyeshadows and pink and red lip glosses, plus a tiny kohl pencil and two double-ended applicators. This works for relatively smart occasions and goth nights, but can be applied a bit more lightly for an evening in the pub. Plus it was still all on by the time I got to work this afternoon, despite a bit of tearfulness coming home on the train. (I’d just about got over missing my boy and, lo and behold, the train for the last stretch was one of the little ex-Anglia ones I used to go to school on - PMS ahoy as I closed my eyes and asked for the scenery to change from the Midlands to East Anglia!) I guess this is the mark of a good product… Finally, the snazziness of the packaging makes me think of the 80s, which is always a GOOD. THING. OK?? ;)
